At the top, there is Lord Cotswald of Orum, Lord Tsang of Rythus, Lord Kolodor of Korbus, and Lady Evalyn of Dazui. But for how much longer? It looks as if great turbulent times are ahead as House loyalties shift about, tensions rise within the ranks, and new blood is brought in to the scene. First off and in the front of many minds, is the upcoming marriage between Sir Amarin of Rythus and Lady Evalyn of Dazui. Words have already been had between the groom and his previous Lord. Yes, I did in fact say previous for the noble and much admired Amarin is leaving House Rythus for the welcoming embrace of House Dazui. But where does this put him and the Lady Evalyn? Will she remain sole heir of Dazui's leadership, or shall the two now have joint control? Or perhaps, after the fiasco involving the Lady's masquerade, the marriage is a convenient way to find a Lord for the House to take over control. The city waits in anticipation for the outcome of this startling affair. Speaking of affairs, Lord Cotswald's involvement with ladies of questionable repute has recently been highlighted by a young man going by the name Neldridge Starrk. He claims to be the son of House Orum's Lord and has been seen in and about Devenon throughout the last year. His mother apparently "worked" in Carengoth and it has been suggested that the Lord may be bringing her back to Devenon soon. Could this sudden interest in rekindling ties from the past, combined with the Lord's well known ill-health suggest a dire fate ahead of House Orum? No comment has been made available by current members of the House Orum, and little is known of this young man, unseen till now. Brief encounters only reveal a violent nature, furthering his claim to Orum blood, and his take is female companions. Following his father's apparent interest in scandalous women, the young man is frequently seen in the company of the young bard Talianna who has previously been spotted in the company of the likes of Sir Amarin, lady-pleaser Thorgan, and the dark Lokahal. What of Korbus, some may ask? Indeed, what of them. While the other Houses mingle their own or are revealing scandalous histories, House Korbus remains idle and void. House Rythus, though cold at times, continues to claim the most admirable man within the city- now in the form of the stoic Sir Azshan. House Dazui continues to build a reputation of social scandal, ranging from shocking marriages to comments made by members disparaging their own brothers and ringing every so faintly of Nok mentalities. And of course one need not point a finger at any specific element of House Orum to mark it as every changing and "active". And so [most] the Houses continue to churn and boil, to the Queen's pleasure or displeasure- it remains unclear. How will Amarin settle into House Dazui? What will Cotswald's public response be to the man claiming to be his son. When will Lord Tsang manage to relax and not act like a stick in the mud? Who will spark some life into House Korbus? Druidic bane and source of many a massacre both before and after her shocking transformation, it appears the wretched and much talked about Raawn Mogh may be gaining traction. Though no word has been available yet about the details of the change, the once Human most definitely suffers but the physical and mental disfigurations of the L'shar disease. Though it was always highly questionable if the woman ever felt guilt about her occasional attacks on the city, their increase and her horrifying sneer now lay all to rest. It appears that with the addition of the woman, and several others, Raawn Mogh's power is truly terrifying to behold. Even the *pathetic* Shadow Ward cowers in fear before it, its Leader having been slain multiple times by the God's followers. One can only hope that at this rate the two groups tear each other to bits and leave the rest of us in peace. + + | | + , _ + | /|/ \ | + |__/ + | | \_/ise of Nok... again? | It seems that no matter how many kickings the Empire gets, it continues to worry at the heal of Devenon, like an angry dog. A sudden influx of Nok supporters has been noticed throughout the lands, and most visibly in Devenon by the presence of the ravishing Lilka. Don't be thrown by her good looks though, for her heart is as a block of ice and her sole purpose in life is the apparent revival of the Empire... again. The city is under no immediate threat however, as the admirable yet modest Azshan patrols the streets and has easily deal with the disturbances thus-far. Fug has also thrown a punch or two, but lets not lose the focus here. Lilka howls praise for the Empire like a bitch in heat and it sounds as if her call is being answered by a growing number of supporters. While Azshan and the nuada appear to be keeping things in hand, a weary eye should be kept on the gates of Devenon for the impending approach of yet another army. + + | | + __ + | /__\ | + |/ \| + | \__/\_/uestionable Knight Proves Worthy Of Scorn | As reported in Tattler issue 6, the Bulbar Fug has somehow managed to raise to a position of some esteem within the city of Devenon. The title of Knight is poorly placed on him though, as he shows time and time again. Violence and feats of strength he can perform in abundance, but a gentlemanly or even a passingly respectable manner he is sorely lacking. The Bulbar has been witnessed time and time again to assault the women passing through Devenon with hugs and threats of kisses. After defeating the Nokling Lilka, he assaulted her with slobbery kisses. Yes, a Nok she may have been, but no creature deserves such a fate as those particular attentions from a Bulbar. Especially *that* Bulbar. Unless it's Warington. | | + + | +-+-+-+-+ +-+-+-+ +-+-+-+-+-+ | +========================|H|a|v|e| |Y|o|u| |S|e|e|n|?|======================+ | +-+-+-+-+ +-+-+-+ +-+-+-+-+-+ | + , + | /| | | + |--| + | | |)ave you seen the most amazing hunk of male flesh ever to grace the face of Ellandor? He goes by the name Thorgan, but many know him better as the Thorganator, Thorgy, Thorg, or even Thor. Words fail to describe the overwhelming aura of manliness he exudes although the term "dangerous vessel of masculinity" could perhaps *hint* at it. Women of every city, nation, empire, and race swoon when he passes by. It has been said that some wound themselves for the opportunity to have him lay hands on them. The names Thorlacis, Geron, Azshan, Tsang, or even Amarin are completely forgotten at the mention of this man. The experience of interacting with him is like no other and those lucky enough to have such a meeting often refer to it fondly as a Thorgasm. If you haven't run into him already- and it's hard to imagine since the fellow has been around for 541 years- you're missing out! + + | XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX | + XX
